Tourism operators in the Thurles and Carrick on Suir Municipal District are being encouraged to apply for funding to support their digital presence as part of Fáilte Ireland’s EU Just Transition Digital Transformation Programme.
100% funding is available in certain cases. The closing date for Expressions of Interest is 30th November.
The fund covers 5 midland counties and parts of Tipperary, Galway and Kildare and is intended to support the local economy that is negatively impacted by the move away from fossil fuel industries such as peat harvesting or the closure of peat fired energy stations and the resultant job losses.
Fáilte Ireland is inviting private and community-based micro enterprises and SMEs to participate.
This programme is open to visitor experiences and attractions, activities and day tour operators, accommodation providers, golf courses and destination marketing organisations located within eligible areas.
