Two people have been charged in connection with the theft of a van from Main street, Tipperary Town on September 25th. It is understood that the van was making deliveries to a number of local businesses at the time of the theft. The van was subsequently recovered in Limerick city on the evening of September 25th.
The accused, a man and a woman, both aged in their 20s appeared in court on Monday November 13th – they were first arrested in relation to the theft on November 4th.Gardaí in Tipperary town say the man has also been charged with other offences including the theft of fuel from a property on the Limerick Road, Tipperary on November 1st and damage to a mini-bus on the Cashel Road in Tipperary on November 4th 2023.
