The Blood Transfusion Service continues to appeal for donors.
There will be a clinic in Thurles over three days next week starting on Tuesday, October 31st until November 2nd.
The Clinics are appointment clinics and those willing to donate are asked to call 1 800 222 111.
The evening clinics will be offering a first appointment at 4.50pm and donation appointments are scheduled until 8.10pm.
At present the most urgently required donations particularly of O negative, A negative and B negative – as these types are running low.
O negative is especially useful as it can be given to people with all other blood types.
