The Fianna Fáil Parliamentary Party Think-In prior to the Dáil returning is to be held at the Horse and Jockey Hotel in early September. The annual event is intended to help set priority issues for the party.
Tipperary’s Government TD Jackie Cahill says he is delighted the event will be held in his home county as it allows Fianna Fáil TDs and Senators to discuss Budget 2024 in detail before Minister McGrath delivers the Budget in the early Autumn.
“This meeting will also allow us to discuss the policy agenda and set out Fianna Fáil priorities for the delivery we want to see from Government, on areas such as Housing, Health, Cost of Living, Education and Agriculture, among others” according to the Thurles based TD.
Deputy Cahill says the occasion will also be sued as a platform to highlight the needs of the county and the people of Tipperary as well as showcasing all that Tipperary has to offer.
