Teenager Who Died In Collision In Ballykisteen Named

The victims of two road accidents in Tipperary have been named locally as nineteen-year-old Ignacy (Iggy) Sokuluk from the Dundrum area and Ronan Dwyer aged 41 from Ballylooby.

Mr Sokuluk died in the two car collision near Ballykisteen on Saturday night.

Mr Sokuluk was a passenger in one of the cars in the collision.

Ignacy was a native of Warsaw in Poland but had lived in Dundrum in Co Tipperary for a number of years and had recently joined the Irish Defence Forces.

His parents Maria Barankiewicz and Sean McGrath are being supported by family, neighbours and friends.

Ronan Dwyer from Croughatour, Ballylooby, Cahir died on Sunday night after being involved with a collision with a car as he was walking near the village of Ballylooby.

Mr Dwyer is survived by parents Seamus and Alice, brothers Paul and Seamie, sister-in-law Melissa, nieces Keighley and Lydia, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Tipperary TD Jackie Cahill joined with others in offering his sympathies to the families involved and also to the Moore family in Thurles whose son Corey died on Saturday morning in tragic circumstances Deputy Cahill praised and thanked the emergency services for their efforts in responding to the incidents.
