Silver Arch Family Resource Centre are delighted to offer the following rescheduled programmes taking place in Borrisokane this July:

  • A Health and Wellbeing Programme for Over 60’s – a 6 week that looks at practical ways of incorporating good habits to help you age well through exercise, diet and social engagement – starting Monday 10th July at 11am in Silver Arch FRC Outreach Office, Main Street, Borrisokane, total cost of €10 per person for all six weeks.
  • A free Healthy Food Made Easy 6 week programme for anyone interested in improving knowledge of nutrition and preparing healthier meals – also starting Monday 10th July at 2pm in Silver Arch FRC Outreach Office, Main Street, Borrisokane.

Doon Social Farm invites you to visit their Community Café – held every Friday between 10am and 1pm. The Farm Shop is also open – You can  purchase organic vegetables, salads, organic eggs, home made donations of baked goods, jams and art. Home bakers and volunteers are most welcome. Tipperary FUSS (Family Unite for Services and Support) are holding an informal Coffee Morning at O’Donnell’s Service station at Woodview Cahir. The Event is half every second week to allow parents or guardians of children with disabilities to meet and socialise. All welcome to attend. C-Saw in Tipperary Town Is open every Monday morning (including bank holidays) from 10.30am to 12.30pm. This is for anyone who would like to pop in for a cuppa and chat. The Venue is the Band Hall Davis Street. All Welcome.

South Tipperary Involvement Centre, Clonmel. – The Centre is run by people with a lived experience of Mental Health issues. Social activities are organised in the centre weekly. The group operated from Place4U, 25 Upper Gladstone Street Clonmel and open every Tuesday to Friday from 11am to 1pm.
