Local Students To Participate Microsoft Dream Space Showcase

All roads lead to Microsoft Headquarters in Leopardstown county Dublin for Tipperary National School Students on June 16th.

Students from national schools in Drom, Boher, Birdhill, Lackamore, Kiloscully and Rossmore in addition to children using the Broadband Connection Points in Boher and Rossmore are to present their digital coding and Sustainable knowledge at the inaugural Microsoft Dream Space Showcase.

This event is intended to highlight innovation in rural primary schools and clubs as part of the do your bit challenge.

Broadband Connection Points(BCPs) are funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development working with Tipperary County Council.

The aim is to ensure the next generation are equipped with the skills they’ll need to compete in a digital economy.
