Tipperary Town Decorated Top To Bottom In Support Of Local Club

Cup fever is descending on Tipperary Town as local club St Michael’s prepares to take on Newmarket in the FAI Junior Cup Final on Saturday in Limerick. The club has erected green and white bunting over main street and installed a display of St Michael’s memorabilia in Kingston’s retail outlet.

The club is appealing for local support for the cup final to be played at Jackman Park, (beside Colbert Station/Bus Eireann depot) Limerick city at 5pm. A special commemorative scarf and t-shirt will also be available later this week.

The club is seeking a 4th victory having previously  won in 1974, 2014 and 2019 – their opponent on Saturday, Newmarket FC, Clare are making their first ever appearance  in the FAI Junior Cup final.
