Garda in Cahir say a man aged in his 20s was taken to hospital following a collision involving a car and van earlier today near Cashel.
The incident is understood to have occurred near Freighduff around 9.15am.
The person taken to hospital is understood to have non life threatening injuries.
There are no reports of any other injuries.
The Air Ambulance service attended the scene and transported the passenger to University Hospital Limerick on the request of attending paramedics.
The incident led to the road being closed for a period of time earlier today.
