Garda in Cahir are investigating an incident on Sunday February 26th when a vehicle travelling on the M8 was damaged due to people throwing items from an overhead bridge. The incident occurred in the Knockgraffon area of Cahir at approximately 6:35pm on the 26th of February 2023 causing damage to the windscreen of the vehicle.
Similar incidents have been reported in the past – Garda are expressing concern due to the potentially fatal consequences of such behaviour. No arrests have been made as of now.
