Boil Water Notice Lifted For Parts Of South Tipp

Irish Water has lifted the Boil before use notice on the Kilcash and Tullohea Public Water Supplies. The notice had been put into effect on August 11th. Some 612 people were impacted by the notice.

Irish Water reports that remedial measures have been completed and consistent, satisfactory monitoring results have been recorded.

The HSE is satisfied to lift the Water Notice with immediate effect.

All consumers on the Kilcash and Tullohea Public Water Supply can now resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.

Irish Water continues to appeal to the public to conserve water.
