Tipperary county Council are appealing for accommodation for refugees in Tipperary.
The Council is asking operators of Hotels, B&Bs, Guesthouses and Hostels to make contact if they can provide accommodation from August 19th onwards.
The call is initially for a three week period of occupation but this may be extended.
Nationwide accommodation for refugees has been difficult to source and some existing student accommodation being occupied by refugees must be vacated as students return.
Anyone with accommodation facilities is asked to contact Tipperary County council on 0818 06 5000.
