Regular donors of Blood are being encouraged to donate in Tipp Town today.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is to operate a donation clinic today at the Canon Hayes Recreation Centre.
The service has issued an urgent appeal, as it needs an additional 5,000 donations – on top of the normal 17,000 – over the next four to five weeks in order to meet demand.
