Revenue have seized drugs worth over €150,000 in Westmeath which were destined for Tipperary and Dublin.
Officer examining parcels at a premises in Athlone discovered over 7.5kgs of herbal cannabis, cannabis resin and cannabis herb.
The concealed parcels originated in Spain and investigations are ongoing.
This seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting the importation of illegal drugs.
