Tipperary County Council is due to give a decision on a planning request for a Nenagh business soon.

The Local Authority is due to make its decision on April 19th in respect of The Lunch Bag in the Lisbunny Industrial Estate, Nenagh.

The company is seeking permission for the construction of a proposed extension with a floor area of almost 2800 sq. meters to the north east of the existing industrial unit on a site recently purchased from Tipperary County Council.

Tipp CoCo recently paid €600,000 for the Lisbunny Estate in late 2020 to provide land for economic development.

The development would see a new entrance, new car parking, disabled car parking, covered bicycle parking and other associated site works.

The company currently employs 130 people in Nenagh as it caters for school lunches throughout the country and has been in operation for over two years.
