Clonmel Garda says that Sarsfield Street is expected to be closed for most of the morning following a fire in a former hotel last night.
Clonmel Fire Service crews attended a fire in the Clonmel Arms Hotel in the town centre last evening.
The fire has been dealt with and no injuries are reported as of now
The property is currently closed and listed for sale.
The site does have outline planning permission for up to 134 bedrooms.
