Three individuals appeared in court today after being arrested in connection with incidents of shoplifting in Tipperary town yesterday.
DIY equipment and groceries to the value of €1000 were taken from two stores in the town.
Tipperary town gardai arrested three men in connection with the incident. They were detained overnight before being brought before Nenagh District Court this morning.
Elsewhere, gardai are seeking the public’s help in solving an act of vandalism that occurred in the early hours of yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
A car was found burned out at a private residence in the Ballyglass area.
Gardai are working on the suspicion that those concerned may have travelled between the Ballyglass and Mount Bruis areas after 5.30 yesterday morning.
Anybody who may have seen anything suspicious or may have witnessed a vehicle being driven at speed in the area around that time
