Tipp Mid West has received confirmation that the construction of a temporary roundabout is set to commence on February 28th. It will take approximately one week to complete.
The purpose of the temporary roundabout is to allow traffic diverting from the N24 to move through the junction more efficiently.
The contractor involved in the upcoming traffic management works on Davitt Street in Tipperary town has confirmed that residents in the Galbally Road, O’Brien St and O’Connell Road areas will be issued with an information leaflet about how the project will affect them.
Residents in these areas are expected to be impacted by the N24 works, as the contractor plans to construct the roundabout at the junction of these three roads to cater for diverted traffic.
