Tipp victory in U21 Hurling Semi-final

This was a game where Galway were big favourites to win, in fact, they were on course for three All Ireland titles – Minor, U21 and Senior.

Tipperary have put a halt to that after a very good display, especially in the first half, our man of the match was Ger Browne (Kickhams), Galway had no player capable of marking him, let’s be fair about it, there’s no substitute for class, great to see Eoghan Connolly also settling in well

Prior to the game, Tipp Mid West Radio’s Stevie O’Donnell sat in the dressing room with Andy Ryan and Andy was very confident of a victory, and for Liam Cahill, this was a sweet victory.

Final score:
Tipperary 3-17
Galway 1-17

The All Ireland U21 Hurling Final Tipperary v Cork has been confirmed for Sunday 26th August in the Gaelic Grounds, Limerick at 5.30pm
