The Jobs for Tipp Group has viewed its meeting with the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation as ‘positive’, ‘informative’ and ‘helpful’.

Minister Mary Mitchell O’Connor was in Tipperary last week to launch the first ever campaign to promote the entirety of Co Tipperary as a location for investment.

The event took place in Kilshane House and was attended by local political representatives, the County Manager and representatives of the IDA and Enterprise Ireland.

Representatives from the Jobs for Tipp Group were also at the event and met with the minister for over an hour.

According to committee member Siobhan Hyland Ryan, the Minster told the politicians gathered to work with the group in the pursuit of jobs in Tipperary town.
