Enterprising Tipp Town On Show At Canon Hayes Centre

A showcase of businesses, clubs and societies operating in the Tipperary area begins this evening at the Canon Hayes Sports Centre in Tipperary town.

Known as Tipperary Town, Enterprise Town it is a two-day event being run by Bank of Ireland.

It begins this evening at 6pm and as many as 130 local enterprises clubs and societies will be on show.

Tonight’s event will also involve a business discussion panel which will be chaired by Marty Morrissey of RTE Sport and will include Supermac’s owner Pat McDonagh and the proprietor of Dundrum House Hotel, Bernard Brogan.

Mick Ryan, the Manager of the Tipperary Senior Hurling team will also be at the event and the Liam McCarthy Cup will be on hand for photo opportunities.

This evening’s event will also see the launch of Circle of Friends’ Buy a Brick Campaign, while a fashion event will also take place.

The second day of the expo will take place tomorrow which will see sports master classes, a sports panel discussion and other events promoting the activities of Tipperary’s business, clubs and societies.
