There are almost 530 people being treated on trolleys and chairs in hospitals nationwide today which is a sharp rise on yesterday’s figure of 417. The daily count includes nearly 60 between the two hospitals that cater for Tipperary patients – South Tipperary General and University Hospital Limerick.
Visitor restrictions which have been in place at South Tipperary General hospital over the past week have now been lifted by management.
