A traffic management system is in place on a 1km stretch of Davitt St. in Tipperary town to allow for works to take place in the general area.
The traffic management system will stretch for a kilometre on the N24/Davitt St to the roundabout at the Tipp Town Shopping Centre.
Works will continue until Thursday, September 20th and will take place between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm.
It follows considerable negotiations on traffic calming measures for that area of the town and will result in the loss of some car parking spaces, which has caused some controversy.
