The second leg of An Post Rás arrived  in Tipperary today to great fanfare Th  Hundreds of people gathered along both sides of Main Street to get a fleeting glimpse of the cyclists as they came speeding to the finish line and to look for Tipperary’s own Simon Ryan. For much of today’s stage Simon was towards the front of the main pack but his progress was impeded by two accidents that took place ahead of him. However he still finished in the main pack.

Aaron Gate of cycling for An Post secured first place.
Alex Frame of Cycling New Zealand came second.
Third place has gone to Davide Vigano of Team Idea2010.

The cyclists will now ready themselves for tomorrow’s stage of the An Post Ras which will leave Tipperary town at around midday.
