Thurles Youth Project to recieve funding as part of small capital projects

Thurles Youth Project has been selected as one of sixteen youth projects across the country to receive funding as part of small capital projects. The Youth Project is to receive €43,473 of a €500,000 pot, with the money being earmarked for repairs to the Youth Project’s building, which is located on Croke St., Thurles.

Welcoming the announcement, TD Michael Lowry said that the project is an extremely important amenity in the Thurles area which acts as a social hub for young people aged between 8 and 18 while allowing them to gather in a safe environment and integrate into the community through various programmes and activities.
