Independent TD Seamus Healy is one of a number of TDs who are to join with the unions UNITE and Mandate to launch a campaign to abolish water charges.
The campaign will be launched tomorrow and according to Deputy Healy it will tackle the issue of water charges on a number of fronts.
He maintains that introducing water charges infringes a UN resolution in 2010 regarding the right to water.
He also maintains that the introduction of water charges basically represents double taxation.
