The public and local community groups are being asked to become involved in the Excel Centre to help secure its future.
A meeting took place last night to gather suggestions that will form a two-year plan for submission to the council in return for funding.
The Excel Centre is experiencing revenue difficulties at present and its board is looking for ways to improve its ability to generate income.
