Contract Signing for New Nenagh Hospital Suites

569

Contracts will be signed today which will allow the construction of two new surgical suites in Nenagh General Hospital.

The investment stems from an agreement made with the last government by independent TD, Michael Lowry.

That agreement consisted of an investment package of over €6.5 million to finance upgrading works, new lifts, a new sterile services department, more day beds and an endoscopy suite – all of which have been completed.

The two new surgical suites, to be signed off on today, will cost an estimated €2.5 million and the tender has been granted to Co Tipperary company, Clancy Construction.
