Independant contractors for the Flancare company have been blockading the entrances to the company’s premises today in a dispute over monies owed.
Provisional recievers were appointed to the company at the end of last week.
The blockades were set up at 2.30am after hauliers were told they were at the bottom of the list when it comes to being paid for their services.
According to one of the hauliers today, as many as thirty people are owed money, in some dases many thousands of Euro and that a meeting has been taking place this afternoon to decide on the course of legal action they will take.
