Gardai in Tipperary Town are investigating the burglary of a house in Cappawhite and the theft of a car from the same premises.
The burglary took place in the Cappawhite Crescent area in the early hours of the morning.
Some items were taken from the house before the owner’s car was also stolen.
Shortly before the theft happened, a number of individuals were seen acting suspiciously in front of a local supermarket. Gardai say this may or may not be connected with the subsequent burglary, but all options are being considered.
