A liquidator has been appointed to the Co. Tipperary company Flancare Clonmel Distribution Ltd.
The order was made yesterday after the court was informed that the company is insolvent and is unable to pay its debts as they fall due.
Flancare Distribution employs 220 people nationwide – 130 in Clonmel, 90 in Longford and 4 in Dublin.
It is hoped tha the majority of the jobs can be saved by selling the company.
