43 Tipperary Women’s Groups To Benefit From Local Enhancement Programme Grants

Forty three women’s groups across county Tipperary are to benefit from  small grants from the Local Enhancement Programme 2024.

This programme allocated €6 million in capital supports for community groups and organisations around Ireland, with funding of €1 million being ring-fenced for women’s groups.

The grants range in size from €695 to €1,454. The figure of €1,454 is allocated to Moycarkey Borris where a trinity application was submitted by the ladies Football club, the camogie club and the Mothers and Others Group.   Funds were also allocated to the Cappawhite Ladies Football Club, Clonoulty Rossmore Ladies Sports Club, Annacarthy and Knockavilla Camogie Clubs and organisations such as the  Ardfinnan Women’s Knitting Club.

In total some 500 Women’s Groups nationwide are allocated the small grants to enhance/improve their facilities and to purchase equipment.
