Tipp Veterinary Nurse Wins Irish Veterinary Nursing Association Vet Nurse Of The Year Award

A Veterinary nurse working in Arra Vets, Tipperary town has won the Irish Veterinary Nursing Association Vet Nurse of the Year award. Cheryl Quigley has been working at Arra Vets for a year and became a Veterinary nurse as a mature student. In her early career she worked in finance and banking.

The award, which is sponsored by Royal Canin, was announced on Saturday at the  IVNA Annual Congress held in at the Clayton Hotel in Cork.  Mairéad Leahy MD of Arra vets says she is proud beyond words at Cheryl Quigley’s success and paid tribute saying Cheryl’s  “warm bubbly personality and caring and compassionate nature makes  all the practice clients and pets feel secure and safe.” Ms Quigley is currently on sick leave and this she also faced with bravery and humour according to  the MD of Arra vets.
