Fundraiser Reunion Event To Be Held In Tipperary Town This Weekend

A reunion event at the weekend in Tipperary town will also be a fundraiser for a young local man currently receiving treatment in the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire. Adam Kyprianou, from Monard was seriously injured in a road collision on July 15th 2023. The funds will help his family with expenses travelling to Dun Laoghaire and for home modifications.

The Porterhouse on Bank Place is donating some food for the former Staff of L&N and SuperValu who decided to have a get together to renew old friendships and to share memories of retailing in Tipperary town down the years.

The event will begin at 9pm on Saturday April 13th and feature an 80s themed disco led by Tom O’Connor. A monster raffle will also be held on the night with several prizes to be won including afternoon tea in the Aherlow House Hotel and gifts donated by  Shane Kelly Pharmacy, Applegreen, O’Malley Butchers, Dunnes Stores Fashions, and the Pure Pharmacy. The organisers are grateful to Ryan Design  for donating their services to provide  tickets and posters for the event and the Porterhouse for donating the finger food for the event.

Tickets are available in Supervalu, The French Quarter Café or in Toomey’s of Monard and  from committee members Sharon O’Dwyer, Debbie English, Catriona Crowe and Margaret Ryan.
