Clonmel Healthcare Launches Operations In Newly Constructed €3 Million Warehouse Facility

Clonmel Healthcare has launched operations in a newly constructed €3 million euro warehouse facility in Clonmel. Mayor of Clonmel Cllr Richie Molloy attended the event.

The new facility will aid the production potential of STADA AG pharmaceutical products for specialised medical products supplied to pharmacists and medical professionals across Ireland.

Previously, the warehouse capacity was 3,500 pallets, yet was responsible for moving 22 million prescription drugs and over the counter products annually – the single largest distribution of pharmaceutical products in Ireland in 2023 by volume. This capacity now increases to 6,000 pallets. Jim Hanlon, CEO Clonmel Healthcare  says the company also operates it’s Sales & Marketing functions in Dublin, Mr Hanlon adds that the company objective is Caring for Patient’s Health as a Trusted Partner.The construction was completed by Mulcahy Construction, Clonmel, with the design and project management work carried out by local architect Kenneth Hennessy of Ailtiri Architects. The entire process saw the investment of €3 million and took 10 months to complete. Clonmel Healthcare was first established in 1970 and is based on the Waterford Road. Today the company is the Irish affiliate of STADA AG. of Frankfurt, Germany.
