A motor cyclist sustained injuries in a single vehicle road incident earlier today on the N24. The incident occurred shortly before 8am close to the former Silver Sands, approximately 4 km outside Cahir. The road was briefly closed to traffic as fire and ambulance crews attended the scene. The motorcyclist has been hospitalised for treatment for injuries that at this time are not thought to be life threatening. The road has since fully re-opened to traffic.
