The family of Noah Quish, a  seven-year-old Limerick boy have said they are considering travelling abroad for treatment, after the child had his scoliosis surgery cancelled for a third time this year.

The young boy from Monaleen has been dealing with complex health conditions since his birth and now urgently needs surgery as the curve growing on his spine is  putting pressure on his lungs.

Noah’s parents are now seeking answers from Children’s Health Ireland about why the surgery was cancelled.

The family have also faced difficulties in securing Physical Therapy and other therapies for Noah.  Supporters of the family have arranged several fundraisers and the next event is planned for April 14th.

The Morning Star Vintage Club is collaborating with other clubs in the area to raise funds by organising a tractor, truck and car run over two routes beginning from Ballylanders GAA club and traveling via Galbally to Lisvernane and back to Ballylanders.

Funds are also being raised via the Go Fund Me Platform – the appeal is named “Noah’s Long Road to Recovery” and can be found  here.
