Amanda Leddin, from Hospital county Limerick, emerged as the winner of the Tipperary Town’s Got talent contest on Friday March 16th.
An audience of 350 people attend the fundraising contest in the Abbey School in aid of Arravale Rovers GAA club. Ms Leddin performed “I dreamed a dream” from Les Miserables with her “amazing voice” to scoop the €1,000 first prize. The organisers say the talent on the night was “phenomenal”. In total 13 acts took part – Grace Prout had to withdraw due to illness – the Arravale Rovers club sent her best wishes for a speedy recovery.
The other acts to make the final were – Headliner, Brandon Staunton, Kelsey Crowe, Sam Ryan, The Krows, Ellie Peters, Victoria Brominska, High Times, Blackthorn, Seanie Peters, Aaron O’Donoghue and Martin Dillon.
