The Excel Centre in Tipperary town says a show planned for March 23th has been cancelled.
Comedian Jarlath Regan posted yesterday that due to circumstances beyond his control the show at the Simon Ryan Theatre on March 23rd is cancelled.
Mr Regan says he hopes to announce an alternative date very soon for all those who had already booked.
Ticket holders are asked to contact the Excel Centre Box office for a full refund directly . The box office can be contacted by telephoning 062 80520.
The Tipperary Excel is also to benefit from a novel fundraiser set for June 15th.
Larry Creamer who recently took part in the Forge Players production of The Plough and the Stars at the Excel is leading the fundraising by offering to prepare people to climb Galtymore on Saturday evening June 15th.
In the weeks and months leading up to this event Larry and colleagues will organise a series of training walks/climbs in preparation for the big event.
Mr Creamer says many people might have a wish to climb Galtymore and this provides a structured opportunity.
Mr Creamer has shared details on his Facebook page and is encouraging support for the Excel Centre which is fundraising towards re-opening the cinema and upgrading the lighting, sound and heating systems.
