Filming For Netflix’s Vikings: Valhalla Begins In Cahir

The production crew for Netflix’s Vikings: Valhalla are filming scenes in Cahir today (June 2nd) and tomorrow.

There will be disruptions in Castle Street car park and a section of the Inch Field for the next two days to facilitate filming.

However pedestrian access to the Swiss Cottage and parts of the Inch Field will be kept open.

Jeb Stuart an American screenwriter and film director is the creator of the historical drama television series on the streaming app.

The first series premiered on February 25th and the following month it was announced that a second and third season would be filmed.

Data from the Netflix top 10s showed the first series between February 25th and April 3rd amassed 265,550,000 hours watched globally.
