Eight newly constructed social homes in Cashel have been made available for expressions of interest from eligible people on the Social Housing list in the county.
The properties are four one bedroomed homes and four two bed units.
The new homes are located at Aengus Court, Boherclough Street Cashel.
The homes are now listed on the Choice Based Letting(CBL) system used by the Council to identify suitable applicants for the homes.
The houses can be viewed on the Choice Based Letting Portal on the council website by people on the housing list, that have registered for Choice Based Letting and are qualified for properties of this size.
Viewing will open tomorrow on the CBL portal and interested parties are to confirm their application by February 5th.
Tipperary County Council says it is vital that those indicating an interest in the homes fully complete the online process as some applicants have previously not fully cleared the “Checkout System” and thus failed to record their interest in securing the available property.
Tipperary Council reminds those making an application via the online portal that a successful applicant who refuses a Choice Based Letting offer will not be eligible for consideration for another Choice Based Letting Unit for a period of one year and that only the successful applicants will be notified.
