The Cashel Christmas Lights Switch-On is to take place on Saturday, the 2nd of December, from 4:30 to 5:30 in the Cashel Plaza.
The ceremony will include St Patrick’s Brass Band Cashel and the Diarmuid O’Hurley Pipe Band Cashel playing Christmas songs as well as an appearance from Santa himself. All are invited to partake in the festivities of the night.
Cashel Chamber of Commerce is thanking local businesses and Tipperary County Council for making the event possible, and says that ‘without their ongoing support we would not be able to have our town light up for Christmas.’
