Four Tipperary Schools have qualified for the knockout stages of the 2024 Harty Cup as the group stages of the competition concluded yesterday. Cashel Community School, Thurles CBS, Nenagh CBS, and Our Lady’s Templemore will all progress – Templemore on score difference in their group. The preliminary quarter final matches will be played on November 29th.
Cashel Community School are the reigning holders of the Harty Cup which is the premier Hurling competition for Schools Hurling featuring players up to under 19 years of age. Cashel Community school and Thurles CBS made history last January when the schools contested the first all Tipperary final with the Cashel school emerging victorious on a 12 points to 11 points scoreline before a passionate crowd at FBD Semple Stadium.
