Revised Draft Local Area Plans For Three Town To Go Public Next Week

Draft Local Area plans for the towns of Clonmel, Thurles and Nenagh are to be amended following the recent period of public consultation.

The revised plans will go out for public consultation this week until 4pm on Monday December 18th.

The plans can be viewed on the council website, in the council offices in Clonmel, Nenagh and Thurles and in the libraries in the three towns from Friday November 17th when the material amendments to the plans will go on public display. 

The new Local Area Plans are to run from 2024 to 2030 and will inform planning decisions and the council’s investment priorities during the lifetime of the plans.

In the future Local Area Plans are to have a lifetime of 10 years according to the new Planning and Development Bill currently before the Oireachtas.
