ABP Cahir Wins Supplier Of The Year At Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards

ABP was presented with six Gold awards at the prestigious annual Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards (IQFDA).

The ceremony took place yesterday (6th September) at the Mansion House in Dublin.

ABP Cahir also won Supplier of the Year, the top prize on the night.

ABP received the six Gold Awards for the beef products supplied to Aldi, out of a total of nine beef categories available.

The Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards recognise and celebrate the best in retail, wholesale and foodservice food and drink products available in Ireland.

ABP received Gold Awards for the following products: it supplies to Aldi:

  • Beef Products32-day matured Angus fillet barrel
  • Specially selected black Angus 40 day matured 3 rib roast
  • Specially selected TDA black Angus rib eye steak
  • Butcher selection beef striploin
  • Specially selected Irish black Angus striploin
  • Specially selected TDA black Angus striploin

This announcement follows ABP’s recent success in achieving 27 stars across 10 of its products at the Superior Taste Awards.

The Awards are run by the prestigious International Taste Institute, a leading global authority on testing and promoting superior food and drink products.
