South Tipperary Hospice Movement (STHM) is appealing to the public to support Coffee Mornings being held all across South Tipperary to raise much needed funds.

A “coffee morning” is being held in Knockanrawley Resource centre, Tipperary town today between 3 and 5pm.

There are coffee/tea packs still available if anyone would like to organise an event before the end of the month – contact 0818 995 996.   This is the 31st year that Bewley’s have been sponsoring the event.

All monies raised locally stay local and can provide aids to people such as walkers, specialised chairs and beds in addition to supporting plans to expand the volunteer driver programme. The STHM is also planning on refurbishing the palliative care rooms in Cluain Arann, Community Hospital, Tipperary town. The service also provide home visits by specially trained Palliative Care nurses. Approximately 6, 500 are supported to die at home by the hospice services across the country.

Donations can also be made online at the link available  here. Donations can be made to the hospice of your choice via the link.
