Uisce Eireann is giving advance notice of supply disruption on Wednesday September 13th for some of its customers in Tipperary town.

The company says repairs to a mains water pipe as part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme may cause supply disruption to Bridge Street and surrounding areas.

Works are scheduled to take place from 10am until 1pm on Wednesday 13th September.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

The company says normal supply will be fully restored 2 – 3 hours after the works are completed.

Earlier today the company launched a text alert service for notifications to business customers for any outages or water quality notices that are expected to last for four hours or longer. Business owner operators can sign up for the notifications at water.ie/business-updates.

The company will continue to operate a customer care centre available by telephoning 1 800 278 278.
