Night-Time Restrictions Imposed On Ardfinnan Regional Water Supply

Night-time water restrictions are being imposed on the Ardfinnan Regional Water Supply to ensure a daytime supply for the Tipperary community. Uisce Eireann says the restrictions began last night at 9pm and will continue until Friday September 1st. The restrictions will be timed to end at 7am and are necessary to help reservoir levels to replenish.
The areas affected include Ardfinnan, Newcastle, Poulatar, Ballyclerihan, Poulmucca and surrounding areas. Some customers may experience reduced pressure while others may experience water outages. Uisce Eireann says water levels are being reviewed daily and that not all areas will be impacted each night. The lower than required reservoir levels are due to operational issues at the water treatment plant.
