Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for all of Munster including county Tipperary – the warning extends over 6 other counties outside Munster and comes into effect at 2pm today.
Met Eireann is forecasting heavy rain with thundery downpours possibly leading to spot flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
The warning is valid until 3am on Saturday morning.
