Tipperary County Council is giving advance notice of plans to close the N74 Golden to Knockroe road between Golden and Cashel for road resurfacing works in August.
The works are scheduled from August 17th until August 25th and will be in effect from 7am until 7pm each day. The council says diversions will be in place via New Inn for the duration of the works.
Traffic travelling from Golden Village will be diverted via the L-4305 heading towards New Inn. Traffic will take a left in New Inn and travel along the R639 towards Cashel. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N74. At the second roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on N74. At the third roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Cahir Rd/N74 at the fourth roundabout take the 1st exit.
Traffic Travelling from Cashel will be diverted via the N74 heading towards the Cashel road roundabout, take the 3rd exit on the Cashel road roundabout. At the 2nd and 3rd roundabout take the second exit. At the 4th roundabout take the 1st exit heading in the direction of New Inn. Traffic will take a right in New Inn and travel along the L-4305 towards Golden Village.
